“We are clumsy stewards of our own souls.”

That’s a quote from Falling Upward, by Richard Rohr.

And I love it SO much.

Because we are all mystics. In other words, we are all capable of having direct experiences of God. But we don’t always know how to do this, and often, it looks and feels a bit clumsy.

Which means we’re doing it right.

Still, wouldn’t it be nice to be joined by other clumsy mystics? To know you’re not alone in this awkward adventure with the Divine?

That’s what I’m hoping to do at “The Clumsy Mystic Diaries.” Together, we’ll explore the spiritual journey. This might include deep thoughts, shallow musings, the Enneagram, writings of the mystics, poetry and other creative ventures, plus whatever else we decide to throw in the mix.
